When waves strike a shoreline where do waves concentrate their energy??

A lot of the energy will be concentrated at the areas of impact.
If the waves strike the Headlands, them it's the Headlands.
If the waves strike the Sand dunes, then it's the Sand dunes and etc.

they do not concentrate their energy but rather disperse it onto the shoreline, which can be beaches or rocks or whatever else is there. to concentrate their energy they would have to focus it on one spot which they don't. they just go the way of the wandering wind
