Well, it is that time of year again, and I am being asked to put togethere the proverbeal Christmas Wish list from my mothere in law. She has a wild sense of humor, and normally, I am able to come up with anything to make her laugh. I have looked the net over and over for days to find a very fake, very creative, and very funny christmas list for myself(nurse) and husband( US Active Marine).
I get tired of being asked to make one each year, so I thought I would send a funny one, but I have a blank mind, and no resources on the net to find any....
I want SEVERAL, and by SEVERAL, I mean at least 20, each. I know thats a lot, so do not attempt it if its too much for you.
SHe is a pastor, she lives in MD, and had 4 kids....
Thinking caps on!! MINE MUST BE LOST!!!
Thanks to anyone who is helping me!!!

Please tell us what you have asked for in the past. Also, 20 from each person is a bit much. You may get a lot of people with really good ideas not answer b/c they don't want to think of 20 things.

Here are my thoughts to get you started:
1 Magenta colored crayon
4 marbles that are yellow inside
box of toothpicks
fuzzy bunny slippers
a Hot Wheels version of the Oscar Mayer weiner mobile (this does exist)
a pad of post-it notes
a green highlighter
a 40 watt light bulb
wheat penny
peacock feather
Burger King crown

This kind of stuff?

Funny Christmas List

I have no xmas wish list, since I don't celebrate xmas. However, I do celebrate New Years, so I'll give you a New Years Wish List: 1) Dinner with Beethoven, in some strange reality wherein not only are we alive at the same time, but I somehow speak German. 2) To be present at the premier of his 9th symphony, when they had to turn him around to see the audience. 3) To be able to do violin vibrato (this is the most far-fetched wish of all!) 4) That this place would put up a FAQ, so we wouldn't have to endlessly answer "am I too old to start playing ?" or "What kind of keyboard should I get?" or "Can someone give me the letters because I'm vastly too stupid to learn to read notes!" 5) And most of all: that I could find the right people to start a band with, including people willing and able to play my 5-voice rock fugue (the one I got thrown out of a band for writing, because I had the chutzpah to expect people to play from written notes!) EDIT: Hey! I just saw someone add a sixth wish! According to talmudic law, that means I get one too! 6) I wish my old violin teacher, Lou Siagel, were still alive. About a year ago I was searching the web trying to find his phone number, and found his obituary instead. Pity, he was a great teacher and a great guy. I adored playing duets with him, most fun I ever had on the violin.

An O-ring for the engine in your Barbie jeep.
A map of the flat world
An electronic flyswatter
Crest Blue Strips
A Snore Muffler
Elbow Crease Botox

May have to think about this some more...

Good, Hafwen! As usual, your questions are excellent, so witty, clever and original..Your choices are the funniest, too...Where do you get all that imagination? Well, I'll be brave and answer about my musical dream Christmas wishes: 1. To be able to speak and write in English as well and as beautifully as Hafwen, and to sing perfectly in this language some of Haendel's works. 2. Have a party with all our Classical members here, each of us playing (or singing) at least one piece. 3. Have a heart-to-heart talk with my hero, JS. Bach. Don't be curious! I won't tell you the theme of our conversation! 4. I love marches.... At least for one hour, I'd like to be a member of the Marine's Philarmonic Band of the USA. Maybe playing the Tuba? Mr. John Philip Sousa conducting, of course. 5. Forgetting the time factor, being able to attend a couple (live) Baroque concerts centuries back, just at the moment they were playing them`.... My best wishes to you and yours for a very happy Christmas.... The same to everyone else in this Classical site. tucomena Edit: Thanks, Doctor Watson, for all those good wishes for us!.
