Why is God such a Coward? Why does God hide in the shadows of life instead of making his presence known to all clearly without question? What is God afraid of? What kind of God would make his will so ambiguous that endless numbers have killed each other in defense of differing positions of what is God's true will? Why does God allow his "works" to be misconstrued as pure happenstance? Why did God give us 5 senses to explore his world then deceive us to make the world appear much older than his "word" says it should be? Why would people worship a God that has been nothing but a deceiver and coward at best?

I do not think God is a coward but I can see your point very clearly, understand why you think that and cannot blame you at all for thinking it.

What I think is that God created (via evolution and big bang) life and gave this life it created free will to change and adapt as needed or as the life-form would see fit. Having done that I believe God stepped out of the picture and is waiting for the life it created to grow enough to be able to comprehend and actually be able to communicate with God in a real way.

Basically God created life and it is up to US to live it as we see fit and if we grow and evolve and better ourselves we might reach the point when God WILL be able to come out into the open and converse without people rioting and setting fires and destroying everything.

If God were right here and telling us what to do then do we have free will? No we would be nothing more than pets who bark and jump thru hoops. I would hope we are more to God than that.

As for God's will I see nothing that has ever said to us "God wants this". All I have ever seen is someone, usually someone who is a know it all without any skills or means of contributing to society, saying that God spoke to him/her and God wants "X".

So I would not blame God because people are stupid enough to believe every freak who "spoke" to God 2,000-5,000 years ago and in the same breath would call someone who talks to God NOW a charlatan, crazy and a blasphemer.

I would say the better question is why people accept what ignorant savages from thousands of years ago say about God and it's will as 100% fact?

My philosophy is that if you have to blame people or blame God...blame people. God may or may not have done wrong but I have personally seen for myself, alot, for decades, that it is usually humanity's own stupidity and greed that causes the problems of the world

Hmm...

I suppose we could turn this question around. He has revealed in His Word what He's done and what He's capable of. He has revealed in His Word how we can find Him and how we might know Him. Why do we seek to know Him by any other means other than what He's already told us? The evidence of His creation is all around us, and His presence is all around us and has been with us since the beginning, but have we been paying attention? While in the earth there is never a time when His presence has been not with us, drawing us, therefore, we have no experience base from which to draw from to know what it would feel like to live in this earth without His presence.

What are WE afraid of? Could it be that if we do what He says in His Word to find Him we will find Him? And could it be that if we find Him He will be different than what we had originally imagined? Then maybe we're going to have to eat a little crow and admit we were wrong about Him? What then???

God has said in His Word, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay says the Lord." What are WE doing taking matters into our own hands and killing each other when He has clearly been dealing with us since before the first murder ever took place (Cain and Abel) that this is not the way to settle an issue?

Why do WE deceive our own hearts into even entertaining the idea that all of His works are mere happenstance? Why do WE relegate ourselves to the 5 physical senses in exploring this world when, all the while, we go ignoring His cry of wisdom telling us to turn from the way that leads to destruction? Hello??? This is your conscience calling. Remember me? The only way we can get away from our conscience is to subject it to a slow, torturous death by doing those things we are continually warned not to do. And if we're bent on continually ignoring our conscience, He's even put authorities in this earth to help us along in stopping the madness.

And who's hiding from Whom??? He's revealed in His Word how He may be found. He sticks by His Word. His Word is His bond.

And I personally find no tricks in the age of the earth. Science is about discovery. It is not the end all. If it were, there would be no more need for more research, right? Do we know our tools are accurate for testing how long the earth has been in existence? And about God creating the heavens and the earth, does it say how much time elapsed between "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth" (Genesis 1:1) and "And God said, "Let there be light" and there was light (Genesis 1;3)? No. The Bible does not tell us how much time elapsed between these two events.

I worship God in Spirit and in Truth - or I don't worship Him at all. What some people call worship is not worship. Jesus has clearly said what worship is: it's Spirit and it is Truth. There is nothing deceiving in the Truth and there is nothing cowardly about the truth. As far as I'm concerned a coward is one who will not face the truth. God faced the truth head-on. He had a whole earth of people lost in the darkness of Adam's sin. That sin was impaled on a cross, bled for, and died for. A coward will not lay down his own life for His friends but will run in the heat of the battle and let his friends die. Jesus didn't run. He took the death penalty that our sin deserved us to declare us free and clear us before God. He took the bullet for us in the heat of the battle against sin.

Wow, seven questions in one... where does one even begin?

First off God, the Triune Godhead and the Great I Am, is not a Coward. He does not materialize before Man, out of LOVE for His Creation. Since Light pierces the darkness, and God is True Light, Holy and Absolute Purity, and since Man is in a corrupt state of degenerative falleness, then God's very Presence of Purity would actually consume, devour and kill that which He so dearly LOVES, Man, for that which is impure cannot stand in the Presence of God's Purity and survive. This is only one reason why God is seemingly absent from mortal men. The other reason is due to the "Great Divorce", for we have been separated from God since the dawn of Time and the very inception of this current secondary Trans-Universal Superstructure, due to our own rejection of a Union we once had with God in a former Paleo-Supraeoverse when we originally possessed "Pneumatic Forms". Our eternal "Spirits" that are apart of the "Tripartite Attributes of Human Wholeness" (Pneuma, Psyche, and Soma) are the surviving remnants from that former state. You neglect to consider the work and influence of the "Adversary" (Satan) as the authentic instrumental agent in all the woes that you describe; its not God that is responsible for the differing positions that have lead to mass killings throughout history in the name of God's Will. Lastly, Satan is the "deceiver", not God, who was the influential force in the establishment of the Evolutionary/Uniformitarian Model, espousing gargantuan ages of the Earth that never existed.

Isn't it amazing that you are so much smarter than God at such a young age.

God created life to give His children joy. He saved every fascination for us to find, knowing that getting is better than having, and discovering is extremely rewarding. He knows what every good teacher knows..,. It is funner to discover something than to be taught something.

PS. Do you give the controls of your video games to others so they can hurry and get you to the next level? Why not?

Well I am happy that you are not talking about the same God that I know for my God is in my face all the time and does not have to hide from his creation. What stop you from seeing my God is you lack of belief. But I know that my God is there with you willing to help you upon your acceptance of his blessing, grace, and many other things that my God offers. So who ever that is that is filling your head with such non-sense please tell them to stop. And allow you to receive God's blessing...........

You are so, so, so full of anger. I sympathise with you. You need to have your explanations. Please take a couple of deep breaths and take a look at to consider approximately whatever that might calm you down. My solutions: a million. God isn't a coward. two. God hides from folks who aren't capable to be given him, so as to admire their freedom. A guy with out freedom might be a foul shaggy dog story, a kind of organic robotic. three. God isn't afraid. four. God's will isn't ambiguous; men and women are keen to misread it. And then, a few of us comply with fake prophets who educate the flawed matters. five. See no. two. 6. The age of the arena isn't as noticeable as our prime college academics gift it. And except, the predominant cause of the Genesis narration is to exhibit that the entire cosmos used to be created by way of God, and the way sin and loss of life entered it. The genuine age of the arena isn't that main, in particular if that is this kind of stumbling block to you. 7. Watch your phrase, blasphemy isn't a humorous factor.

you will never have the complete answere to that until you die. i believe that alot of people have totally lost what it means to be spiritual though.the past few days i have been telling my stories of how i have come to my conclusions about god and still am.

god shows himself a hell af alot more than people think. and even many christians get lost because the dont know how to truely find god. the get caught up in the whole chanting and praise and worship, cult like isnt it. and thats not even the bad part. its when they start feeding on you like leeches. they try to control you and tell you that if you are not just like them then there will be firy torment waiting. while these people go on judging and persecution they think that they are justified because they are" spreading the word. when someone is depressed they say its the devil. and so what if it is. im sorry but if your mind is depressed and weak enough for all of the so called demons in you, then getting the depression taken care of will help you get a stronger mind and help you control them and eventually it was you that helped yourself. not some priest trying to cast them out. if you have a weak will and mind, theres more room for deception. i learned this one on my own. like it says, got helps those who help themselves. but realize that god does drop hints from time to time. weather it be a person with something to say or a show that just happened to be on that pertains to your problem, or just your own conceous. live your life like jesus taught. dont allow yourselves to get so caught up in hype that you have forgotten wha tgod truely wants . love one another, be honest. listen to the ten comandments because seriously people, even if some guy just put that in their out of his own head, its pretty much how we should be living anyway right. not whos religion is better or which on will get me to heaven first. theyre all right so move on and stop worrying what everyone else believes because when it comes down to it isnt the thing we should be asking ourselves is cant we all just get along? also listen to your instincts. i believe got trys to guide us through our common sence. sometimes we have that little voice in our head telling you to avoid a certain situation and then ya do it anyway. and then we have the gall to blam it on god. he gave us all free will people. god is not going to boom an answere out of the sky. listen to the un obvious.

The Almighty God Jehovah gave us rules to live by. We have free will to obey or disobey. If we do as God wills we get everlasting life. If we disobey we get death.
It's up to you to get accurate knowledge of what you should do to get saved.
A bible study would be a good choice.
