Both of my kids have that. It is a lesser form of exzema. Use Cetaphil lotion twice a day on the areas. It's great!! Get it at walmart of walgreens.
Occasionally it flares up to full blown excema and you have to go to the doctor for a perscription. Even then, continue the use of Cetaphil. Good luck!!!
PS DOn't forget to put it in little forgotten places like the back of the knee--it can really flare up in areas like that.

There are some very good answers here. My little one has very sensitive skin and used to get wind burn and heat rash very easily. If she has been bundled up then falls asleep and sweats or gets over heated it could be that too.
It is all about comfort level. If you ever doubt or are really fearful about this sort of thing and have a reasonable insurance co-pay, whatever...just visit the doctor. Why live with the doubt or fear? Another thing to keep in mind. If you don't believe it is chicken pox because she has had it before. It is not unusual for babies to catch it again because they were so young when they got it the first time! My daughter had it a little and it came in full force 2 years later! During the change of season, sensitive skin can get very irritated...

My daughter had something similar; our family DR. diagnosed it as "Pityriasis Rosea". It isn't serious. You didn't really describe what the bumps look like. With PR there are small patches of scaly rose-colored inflamed skin. PR really itches! Our doctor told us it is basically a cold on the skin; that it is a type of viral infection and just has to run it's course! He gave us a topical cream to treat the itch. He also told us to have her wash with an antibacterial soap. You can go to Web MD and read about this condition so you can determine whether or not this is what your daughter has. BTW, the cream he gave her for the itch was prescription. I hope this helped you! Good luck!

Have you used sunscreen or a heavy lotion on her lately?
I had a similar experience with my toddler this summer. After checking with her pediatrician, we learned that sunscreens and some body lotion can clog the small pores on new skin. The bumps erupted in areas where she would sweat, only the swet wasn't able to come out because the little pores were clogged. The pediatrician told us to wash her like usual and apply a gentle lotion like Johnson's when her skin needed it. They also said to continue using sunscreen because the little bumps were not harmful but sun damage could be.
Have her pediatrician take a look at the bumps. Hope this helps.

Iif not chicken pox sounds kind of like a poison maybe poison ivy or sumac...or she could be having an allergic reaction to something maybe a new laundry soap or something that you washed her clothes in...it could be so many different things you just need to make her an appointment with her doctor & let her have a look at it,but i guess you already know that & r just asking for opinions..lol..any way good luck!

It could be dry skin. Don't give her Benadryl anymore unless you get her checked by a Doctor. Try giving her Aveeno Oatmeal baths, and then put Aveeno baby lotion on her.
She could be having a reaction to something, but if it isn't itching or causing her discomfort I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just keep your eye on it. If she is uncomfortable, you should take her to a Pediatrician and get it checked out!

I know that, sometimes, when my daughters are coming down with a virus, they get bumps on their bodies. It's the body's reaction to a virus.
There is no cure for viruses, so it just has to run its course. You can take her to the Dr. and verify, but that's probably what it is. She's got a virus from someone or something, and it will run its course and go away.
Good luck!

I agree with taking her to a Dr. It could be nothing but you never know, rashes are very hard to diagnose, so the Dr must look at her and give an exam to make reach a conclusion

kinda sounds somewhat like hen pox, yet i'm unsure. hen Pox united statesa. initiate appear like pimples, then become blister that are pink on the exterior and prefer sparkling bubbles on the interior, i've got had them this year so i remeber tremendously for sure. i might take ur daughter to a doctor however, it could be the main secure selection for ur family contributors.
