Does anyone know how to edit songs?

i want to cut an audio file down to make it smaller, either by editing out a section or just making it a smaller file.

Use audacity ... its open source free cool editing software!

well if you want the send the file to another p.c. then you best make it a zip file. It makes it tons smaller

Use a program like CoolEdit to cut and paste just like you would with text. And quit spamming the board!
