Peolple who respond with idiotic nonsense like that are just following there orders from the RNC. You couldn't get these people to sign up and fight in Iraq for all the money in the world. I hope your husband returns safely and with full health. The DoD will never release such information, they've been lying about war casulites since the Indian wars.

When I answered your original question you posted the following in the aditional details
Everyone doesn't just run off the base because one mortar hit it get real guy!
When I was trying to show you how statistics can be manipulated I said that 100 people were missing - they would therefore not be amongst the dead list -
I was not trying to suggest they run away when hit or anything close to that -
If the body isn't right there right then - they don't know what happened "maybe they ran away " maybe a lot of things No body not dead (yet) according to the offical stats .
I hope that clears up any misunderstanding - I am not even sure if your response was directed at me or not .

might be the DoD could be using more diplomatic language when they deal with concerned relatives of the armed forces.
And you should know the DoD is in the killing business and they are not renowed with the use of the english language.

The Iraq war was started by US because of oil. If not, why dont US attack North Korea or Pakistan?. Back to your question, since the Iraq war has ended, I dont see any reason why the US still seems to send troops over there. They should assisted in forming the legitimate govt. over there and once its formed, to get out from Iraq. But again, the control over oil in Iraq is the main issue. Hopefully, the people of US will exert some pressure so that there wont be unnecessary loss of life.

It is the kind of crap you put up with when unintelligent people post on here.
You have to not take it personally because there are some really stupid twisted minds out there and they like to intimidate people. Ignore them and maybe, just maybe they will go away. The are low life inconsiderate people that have nothing better to do with their time.

no, you do not wish more troops died in iraq, but the bush administration operates in a shroud of secrecy under the guise of national security. why else wouldn't we question things like the actual number of amercian deaths in iraq?
