This is a magic star problem. You can search google for guidelines on how to solve it or you can work by trial and error. Here is one solution. Starting with the top point of the star and working clockwise to valley then point etc.

2 - 7 - 6 - 11 - 10 - 5 - 8 - 1 - 14 - 9 - 12 - 3 - 4 - 13

The best thing I would tell you and the way that I would do the problem would be to guess and check.

Good Luck. :)
