It really pisses me off to think that my hard-earned tax dollars are making some CEOs rich!

yes. They got paid well. Of course, so did everyone who works for them.
You willing to go work in Iraq for 10 bucks an hour? No? Well then why are you trying to bust on HB? If you are, give them a call, they will love to hire you for that.
The HB workers over there bust their *** and put their live on the line to get food, shelter, and power to our troops. What have you done for them except complain?
Edit -
And so that is the path they choose. I do not resent a single person on the ground in Iraq that works for HB.
And no, those civilians are NOT overpaid. They have zero training and rely 100% on us for defense. They have armor? What armor? They have semi's with chicken wire on the windows to keep grenades from getting in. they have SUV's...no armor. They have vests with Sapi plates, but then again, so do we...and we always did have them. You do not know what they have or don't have, you have not even been there. Stop assuming, it makes you look bad.
Also...I don't get paid as much as they do, but i chose my career path and have every option to change it just like everyone else.
You would have not liked a single buisness that got that contract bid and succeeded. I would have no other company do this as HB has the know-how, capabilities, and the voulenteers to execute. Had it been anyone else, we would be sitting in shelter halvs and eating MRE three times a day.
Next time you want to rant...gather some facts or have a related background.

When you factor in Cheney's, former CEO, and Bush's cut it works out about right.
