If they can act ex. Ice Cube in boys in the hood was Oscar worthy in my opinion. But sometimes I hate rappers and singers and nobodies like Paris Hilton being in movies because they can't act and there are a million actors in the world who study the craft and bust their butts to become actors just to have someone get the role because they're a rapper or singer. But like I said, once in a good while one might surprise me.

I don't see a problem in them acting, but making a movie on their life about how "they have it hard", "they're too tough to be famous", and "rapping is the only way I'll save my mom from being evicted". No one cares about what happened before their life, but now that they're famous, they're making songs bragging about how much chicks they can get and how rich they are. That is personally why rap is a pointless kind of music. All the songs are about the same thing.

I'm stilling waiting for them to get into the singing game. I know rap is an acquired taste. I figure if I have to keep listening to it at every single intersection where I'm stuck at a red light with no hope of escape, I might learn to tolerate it.

I think most rappers should stick with what they know. Just because your rhyhms are tight doesn't make you a good actor. Some people just want to do too much.

Why-y-y not? Let's see what they can do.
While it was fun to see SweetSnoopDog decked out and making a little action in STARSKY and HUTCH, I'd so love to see him in a serious dramatic/action role. Or, if they could just bottle up some of that coolness for the rest of us...
