This is what I am hearing. This dude and money. Over and Over again. Yea your parents are upset, just maybe they want you to have a better life than with some dude who just gives you money. Depending on the State you live in emancipation is different. Calif. is at the age of 16. You still have to prove that you can support yourself to the courts. Don't let your sex drive and money be how you start your life. Also, yes your parents can file charges against this dude for having sex with a minor. That means he would do a few weekends in jail and have a fine to pay. Possibly more. What is your hurry to leave your family who has been there for you ALL of your life. Really think about it. Ask yourself why? Trust me on this, life isn't always about you being happy and getting money, and not everyone cares about you. Your family will always be your family.

You have to be 18 to move out. depending on what state you live in depends on if it's sagitory rape or your own consent based on how old you are.
Right now your parents have every right, and the way you word all of that you are are missing out on proper education. Just beacsue someone gives you money doesn't mean they love you, it has another meaning but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and think it was worded wrong.

you need to get an education, and to grow up and i agree with alot of the answers u have gotten your parents have every right to wanna be lockin this guy up, your young he is older and should know better not to have sex with you, and gives u money? i hope you guys are using protection when u have sex? your parents love u and will always be there for u.. this guy probably wont be there for u. what if u get pregnant if ur not using protection? what are you gonna do? what if he has AIDS? then what? you have alot of learning to do an growin up and maturing to do, how are u gonna raise a baby (if u get pregnant)? alot of guys take off when they find out ur pregnant.. not all but alot do then what?? how are u gonna support yourself an this lil baby? or live if your parents kicks u out?

Classic suggestion here: talk to your mom. Don't let emotion take a hold of you when discussing this matter. Be reasonable and also act like an adult. Let her know you will take this relationship slow and allow her to keep an eye of you guys. Don't try to hide it because the more you hind, the more she will feel that she can't trust you. Be open and honest.

18 is when you can move out into this big wonderful world, and everything will just be hunky Dorie. NOT! Your parents have been there done that. They now whats ahead for you... And they are trying to save themselves and you from misery. Little girl, you don't know nothing yet. Listen to your parents. He's being so nice to you so you won't turn against him and send his *** to jail.

I suggest you listen to your mom. You do not take money from someone for sex and call it love cause if you believe this all the money you make in the future will NOT cover the medical bills when you get AIDS.

Your mom has a right to get him locked up. If you were a minor and he had sex with you, that's called statutory rape. Even if you didn't know the law, I assure you that he did.
If he loved you he could have waited until you were older.
Your parents are disappointed in you that's why they blow up in your face... No one wants to think of their child as a piece of used ****.
I suggest you stay away from this guy. Worry about school now and love later.

depends which country your in, but i think about 18 is the average age to move out. And i think that you should make sure you can still see this guy but keep it secret and then move out, but try and get along with your parents in the mean time
