I just bought a new pair of pylon rubber refills for my truck because the old ones were squeaking. They worked fine for about a month, now they are squeaking. Does anyone know what could cause this?

i own a repair shop, and have often wondered this i think its because the rubber never is shaped exactly right for the wind shield ,you can put rain x on a wind shield and it will stop them from squeaking for a pretty long time,i don't think they can make a blade good enough to not squeak you,d think by now the would have come up with one,but if you,ll look at the new ones you bought they,ll have a gap in them somewhere, good luck, i hope this help,s.

Not using the proper screen cleaner makes them squeak.

Mine only squeak when I use them when it is not raining very hard. I use Rain Dance on the windows and find it helps.

I think there is some kind of film on the windshield that has worn off that needs to be reapplied. this happened to me too.

I think they are just cheap blades. Buy some good ones.
