No way! It's far better than this cr@p they have around today. When they re-released all Elvis' number 1's look how well they did in the charts decades later. There is such a huge demand for it and the so called musicians today should sit up and take note of it. They say Elvis or someone like Buddy Holly inspire them, where? I can't here any sort of inspiration in that. Not only that, but I HATE it when people sample classic songs as well...as my dad says, it's not music it's just noise, and he's right...just re-release all the old stuff and get rid of the cr@p that's around now

I would say that classic Rock'n Roll is, as far as what's written nowadays. They just don't write songs like they used to. But you can still enjoy classic Rock'n Roll on the radio and on CD's.

Rock'n Roll is still as popular as it ever was and has many clubs that devote their time to this music. It will always be around long after all the house and hip hop etc. type music has disappeared.

Not for people who know good music when they hear it, and not as long as the Baby Boomers are still around. They passed it on to their children and yes, thankfully, it is here to stay!

No but it's close to being dead.
Too many groups all sounding the same is killing it.
Let's have some originality.
