This fight is not about democracy or safety..it's about money and power...period. They entice soldiers with a better future but in return they have to spare their lives...for freedom? for safety? or to ensure monetary interest in oil?. Some of these soldiers do not have a choice, they cant get jobs, they live in proverty and they see the military has a way out to a better future. Others felt they were serving their country because of the terrorist attacks only to realize when they go overseas they war has a total different agenda than what they were feed before they enrolled.

Possibly. However, you are crazy to think any American who did fight in Viet Nam or Iraq, was fighting for that reason.
Now, it is possible that the insurgents fighting in Iraq might be fighting for greedy rich guys, right???

That is the way I felt. The war in Vietnam had nothing to do with freedom. It was all about money, so is Iraq, but to many people buy that it is about fighting terrorist on their own ground.

The process of Freedom and Liberty is a bloody road that it is an honnor to fight for, It dose not mater whether it is OUR freedom that is in question.
It is the freedom of any people that is right and just.
Not that I expect you to understand that.

Have to agree it sounds pretty stupid. But when you rely on the government to support you and your family, like so many men and women do, you just do what your told. If you ask some of these soldiers returning from Iraq, if it's worth it, they will say,"it is , if we stop fighting now, all those men and women will have died in vein".

Nope. Because that's not why they're going.
Excuse me, but my FATHER and my FRIENDS are not crazy.
I guess you wouldn't know anything about soldiers who love their country enough to sacrifice their lives for it, would you?
Regardless of whether those wars are right or wrong, our soldiers are SERVING THEIR COUNTRY.
Just because you're too cowardly to do the same doesn't mean you should denigrate them.

Or blindly obedient to the call of duty, or misinformed, or maybe you just like fighting. There are lots of reasons.
