When should you trim your Mountain Laurel trees? It would have to be in late fall. that is when any kind of trees should be trimmed to let them get strength when Spring comes around. I have some mexican Laurel trees and in the spring they bloom with purple flowers which look like the color of the grapes. Beatuiful to behold!

I would say late fall. However my mountain Laurels stay beautifully shaped and i never trim them
