Learn how to write well, if you haven't already. No matter what your degree is in, far too many college-educated people can't seem to string two sentences together on paper. And especially since our world is so information-driven, the ability to communicate clearly and concisely is vital. Maybe I'm biased since my degree is in journalism, but I think the ability to write can be invaluable no matter what your career field, and you can use it anywhere you end up.

Having said that, it's been 16 years since I took English Composition as a college freshman, but if you can find a copy of the book WRITE TO LEARN by Donald Murray (check Amazon.com), that was the book that taught me how to write--plus my instructor for the comp class had us keep journals every day, making sure we wrote at least a page, no matter what it was about just as long as we wrote, because as a writer, the more you write, and the more you read good writing, the better your own writing becomes.

Have you e ver heard that old saying "Physician, heal thyself"? LOL It is relevant here because you would be surprised how many qualified "Psychologists" have personally very "messy" lives because they do not apply to themselves all that they have learned for the purpose of helping others.. Personally (and I don't seem to be alone in this) "Doctor Phil" is headed down that road himself. Lately he has been involved in some very unprofessional behaviours. So the very best use for your newly qualified wisdom is be sure and always live by it yourself.
