80s or 90s? Are you mad? Those decades don't count as 'good old classic'... The 80s was the decade that music forgot, and the 90s isn't long enough ago for anything to be a classic yet.
But if you must press me... I love anything from U2's Joshua Tree album, mid-80s. Not just because I'm Irish, but because they sounded fantastic, and have never done anything quite so good since. Probably the best album the 80s produced.

Ha had to laugh when you said "good old classic song" then said 80's or 90's. I was thinking of Music to watch girls by, by Andy Williams-much older. A nice one from the 80's is A good heart by Feargal Sharkey, or I'll stand by you, the Pretenders. 90's-Wonderwall by Oasis , Song 2 by Blur, Angels by Robbie Williams.
