The easiest way to do this is:
(This example considers that you are using Word 2003)
1.Start MS Word
2.Click the “Tools” menu
3.select “Letters and Mailings”
4.select “envelop and labels”
5.select the “labels” tab
6.click the “option” button
7.under label information, select the type of labels that you have / want to use. I find the best one to use is “Avery A4 and A5 sizes” then a scroll down to L7160 in the product number section.
8.Press “ok”
9.then click “new document” button.
What you will now have is a new document that has rows and columns to fit the Avery L7160 - A4 envelope which can be purchased from WHSmith for under £5.

I believe you need Microsoft word, you go to tools, then envelops and labels, and then you need to choose the right label size you are working with (it's marked somewhere on the package of labels you are using). If you want the whole page of labels the same, just type what you want in the single space. If you want single labels, then click "new document".

I dont quite understand what your trying to do, but maybe this site may be of some help. They have a large collection of pre designed label templates for Word.
http://www.worldlabel.com/
----------------
You can also use the 'Envelopes and Labels' tool in word
Goto Tools on the Menu at the top of Word. Click 'Letters and Mailing' --> Envelopes and Labels then 'New Document'.
---------------
Remember once you have a template done and printing exactly how you want it, it will be so much easier for next year, eventually you will be saving time!

Assuming you are using Word XP/2003 (will be similar for others)...
* Open Word
* Click on Tools
* Go to Letters & Mailing
* Select Envolpes and Labels
* Select Labels on the top tab
* Click options to select the commercial label you want to print on or create your own label.
Hope this helps

Microsoft Word, if you have it, or Microsoft Works also has a label and envelope programme, or you could get a cheap and nasty label software when you buy the stick labels at most computer supply shops.

With the right software this is very easy to do. You can get Print Master for about $10 at walmart, and then just buy some address label paper to print them on. There are other programs to do it with, but that's what I have and it works for me.

Hi,
If you want to create a simple label, use Word (as most part of people here suggested), but if you want to create very customized and a flexible way to create your labels, try Microsoft Publisher. There are lots of wizards who will help you to configure your lables.
