get it fixed NOW before your problem gets ANY worse. Soon you'll be replacing roofing components and your ceiling and walls...

Fix it NOW... get it roofed PROPERLY. If you have any further questions on HOW to roof it properly, let me know.

Your roof has no valleys? Many houses have no valleys. Valleys are an achitectual feature. Now as for flashing how do you know there is no flashing? Flashings are the cause of 70% of roof leaks. How old are the shingles? How many layers on the house? There are soooooo many factors and possibilities here.

You need a roofer - now. Roof leaks can go on for up to 5 years before you found the sings of it. Do not delay.

If you do not get your roof fixed the rain will cause your roof joists and trusses to rot, if these rot the weight of your roof tiles will cause it to sag or collapse. The water will also get into the roof space and, in the extreme, through your ceilings. You should get a builder or roofer to come out to see your roof and give you a price to fix it. Get a quote from a couple of companies and ask them to itemise exactly what they are going to do this will allow you to match the estimates like for like. If your property is really old, you could check with your local Council to see if you would be entitled to a Grant to assist in having it fixed.

Get up in the attic and see if can see where it is coming in. I did roofing and you see a lot of strange things. Water can travel a long ways to finally come down in one spot. So where you see it leaking may not be the exact spot, but it will get you close to where it is. Then you can get up there and inspect the shingles. If it is an old house and the shingle are old the felt underneath will be shot.

If you have a shingled roof look for a weak spot. Like one torn off, or one raised-up in the air.
