I am marriecd so having a child wouldn't be the end of the world, in fact my husband would be thrilled. I just got off the depo and I'm done with hormones, and barriers methods such as cervical caps and diaframs aren't supposed to be used if you have abnormal cells, which I do. So, I'm thinking about trying FAM with condoms. I've read, if done right it can be 98% effective.

I have to agree it sounds a lot like the rythm method and would not recomend it unless you are trying to get preg. They best birth control without using chemicls or hormones is condoms. Good luck.

Sounds like a new version of the rhythm method...I wouldn't recommend it unless you want a child.
