there is a remarkable difference between the feeling of being in love- or infatuation..lust if you like..and actual real lasting love. The two can be very easy to confuse with one another in the beginning but there is a very real difference and that difference is how long it lasts and what happens to those initial feelings over the course of time. That is why you have to give it the benefit of time in order to be certain of which one it is that you feel. If it is real love that you feel, you will be patient and time will not seem of any importance to you, you will not seek to hurry. Love should not leave you feeling exsausted, or cause you to behave stupidly, forgetfully or recklessly. It should make you better than you were before, not the reverse.

real love is unhurried, unselfish, honest and accepting, it begins slowly and grows gradually over time, this is the kind of love that is true and will last.

It is very difficult to tell the difference between love and lust or infatuation, but as a rule of thumb if the feeling lasts it is more likely to be love, as for knowing if someone really loves you that is even more difficult as people can be quite deceptive, best advice is to follow your heart but keep your eyes open

oh you will know. Trust me there will be No doubt if you are really in love. You will want to be with that other person all the time and you will want to put their needs often above your own. You will have that special feeling when you are with them....you have to feel it to really know.

u just know, for example i've been wiv my man 4 about 2 yrs n i still get butterflies when i hear him comin up the stairs 2 bed. n i still get all warm n tingley when he cuddles me.
i know he loves me cuz he'd do anythin 4 me n it's those little conversations u have behind closed doors that convince me!
just trust me u'll know
