Hi!
There is a "feature" of Win XP SP2... I could find no reasonable workaround... that blocks some scripts (Yahoo! Messenger uses scripts to display text).
Try reinstalling... Windows (to another version).
Also:
- this only happens on some computers.
- your anti virus software might have something to do with this...
