I like Tide with Bleach Alternative, I get oily clothes and they come clean with this Tide. For stains I use regualr peroxide. It is better than bleach and does not harm the fabric.

If it is totally white and bleachable, soak in a gallon of water with one half cup of bleach overnight. Use very warm water. Use rubber gloves to keep the bleach from burning you. Then pour off the next day and refill with very warm water just keeping the little bit of bleach still there and mix in some Tide into the bucket. The next day fill the washer and wash normally in the washer but only wash with whites cuz of the bleach in the shirt.

Hello. The trick I always use is to apply the stain with a generous coat of powder(baby powder will do). This powder will soak up the oil.
To get best results rub in the powder to the area, If you leave the item for about 5 minutes then shack off ant excess.
Depending on the amount of oil spilt on the shirt etc, you may be required to repeat the above....but believe me on this one, it works.

I use "DAWN" dish washing liquid in the laundry all the time for oily stains. Pour it on the spots and let it soak in for several hours. Overnight would be even better, then wash it in the hottest water allowed for the cloth. This usually works the first time, but if it's really covered in oil, it may need a second application.
Good luck!

Your gonna laugh... I had the same thing happen to me... I tried getting it out in about 3 wash cycles... NO LUCk... *GAH*
so, I am visiting my friends house, sn I had to borrow a swim suit, but I was self conscience. So, I used the shirt, as I had given up on it ever being salvaged. I used over my swim suit. when we were done, I got out and let it dry, and the oil had gone away! and this was a red shirt! So, jump in a pool! I think the chemicals in it take it out, and do not rinse it out right away! let the pool water dry in it, and then wash it.
That was just me.... lolz.
