My computer was having a lot of problems, viruses and so on, so I just reinstalled windows and everything is great except that I can't access the Stanby or Hibernation options when I go to turn the computer off. The icon is there, it's just not "clickable." Any ideas of how I can fix this? Thanks for your help!

Let me also say that I have no options available in power management. That's not the solution, the option to enable hibernation isn't there where it usually is!

Stand by and Hibernate appear only if your computer supports these features and you have turned them on in Power Options.

you have to enable it in your power management windows. go to display properties by single right click on an empty area on your desktop/display screen-go to properties-screen saver-click power. enable your standby mode and hibernate using related windows here.
