Ok so I've been having all kinds of health issues the past few months. (stomach isssues, heart problems to just name the worst ones.) Well this morning I woke up and my chest felt like I'd been punched (which is normal as of late) but when I went in the bathroom my shirt was soaked and I was lactating! My youngest is 2.5 yrs so that was a shock. I did think I had a couple drops last week but it was so little I wasn't sure. I know I'm not pregnant and I went for my annual pap yesterday so I had a breast exam. I've had all kinds of blood work etc over the past couple of weeks and everything was normal so what could cause this? Should I be concerned? (Not sure if it matters or not but I'm 28)

if you have had alot of breast stimulation it could have caused you to start creating milk similar to what happened to wet nurses. but you might want to talk to the doctor it could also be a prolaction surge caused by a tumor.

Included in your blood workup were hormonal tests done? Usually milk production starts with the drop in oestrogen and progesterone after a birth....check and ask if your hormone levels have fallen and maybe do a pregnancy test. You can lactate during pregnancy. When last did you breast feed your last baby? You may still have lactating breasts?
