Math terms: Better set, worse set?

Can somebody please explain the concept of better set and worse set?

I question whether either of you have ever taken mathematics, but kudos on the attempt.

Better set : Is a well defined set such that you can exactly determine its elements.
Worse set : is an open set depends on your point of view so it is not well defined suchas the set of all peatifull girls in a definit place.

a set of aces beats any lower set. the higher the cards, the better the set. HOWEVER, you still have to look out for straights and flushes.
