I have a Dell Latitude D600 with a Radeon Mobility 9000 video card and a docking station. I also have 2 monitors that I would like to operate in addition to the notebook screen. I can use both monitors at once, but, when I open the notebook, one of the monitors stops receiving a signal. I believe this must be a software issue because I can use any combination of 2 of the displays at once, and the Radeon Mobility 9000 is is supposed to support three displays. Any ideas?

It sounds like a hardware issue. It is very possible that the chipset is designed to support either the laptop screen or a monitor. My suggestion is to email or call Dell to ask about the video card. They will likely send you to ATI... In any case, I would try a third monitor and see if that works.

have you thought to call the manufactorer? If its supposed to run 3 monitors at once and only 2 are working at the same time, then I would think to call the manufactorer.
