I don't know about other coservatives but this one is going to give the other guys a chance. Republicans have had control of the entire government for the last six years and all Rush Limbaugh does is complain that Bill Clinton is the cause of everyones headaches I'll give the Dems a try, thankyou.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! They just are not stooping to the liberal stand of "Vote for us because we are not Republican". All the ads I've seen from conservatives have been positive. None of them have been full of mud slinging (a liberal invention) and lies. They have be filled with "THIS is what we stand for on THIS issue".

I have never claimed a political party but tend to have more conservative views on the issues. I vote for the (wo)man. Not the party. If everyone would use their brains and do the same, I don't think we would have so much negativity in elections and politics in general.

Have you watched the news in the last 2 days? There is a major-shift going on in the polls. Recognized by both party analysts. The Republican candidates are gaining much support and now, 13 days before the election, it looks like the Republicans might/will hold on. Does that end the BIG party all the dems on this site were planning?

No, I believe the Repubs will hold both Houses. Even if they don't it's O.K. because after the liberals have two years to screw things up and show their true colors the Republicans will be back in control stronger than ever.

I doubt most people voting for the Dems even know the voting record of who they are voting for.

What will happen and what you think will happen are two different things. I think that with all the rhetoric, that the Democrats will be over confident, and the Republican will go vote. Then if the Republicans hold on there will start to be conspiracy theories how the Republicans stole the election.

As one who votes for individual candidates and issues, I never 'give up' on any election. it is the keystone to democracy. Sometimes the candidates you support don't win, or an issue goes to your opponents, that is never a reason not to vote. Use your political voice!
