Yeah ya know I think he was too. Its just sad how the christian right is to busy being bigots to recognize what Christ was truly about. Organized religion is evil.

It really depends on your idea of righteous. There can be "bad" conservatives and "good" ones. The "bad" conservatives may be the ones that stick absolutely to the letter of the law in religion who are open to no interpretation despite the modernaization of society. The "good" conservatives may be the ones who follow the letter of the law within the religion but are open to some suggestion or interpretation by religious leaders or scholars as how to adapt this message to an ever changing society. Then again, you conceptions of good and bad may be completely different which is why I say that righteousness is in the eyes of the beholder. So ask your father what kind of ideologues he really wants to scare and then make your decisions from there.

Do you want to give heart attacks to the Dems? A lot of them don't believe in Christ, let alone believe him. And your addition tells me that you are just saying something you heard. Jesus was not a liberal! Did he not say that the lawyers and the judges were not going to heaven because of their unrighteous works? Did he forgive homosexuals? Did he not beat the money changers and animal sellers in the Temple of God? Read your New Testament, King James Version!

Yeah, somehow...I don't think someone dressing up as Jesus would scare the conservatives, since the CHRISTIAN conservatives would know Jesus if they saw Him.

That's really just not funny.
