In 1953, along with Navigators leader Dawson Trotman, Bob Finley started International Students, Inc. to reach foreign students all over the U.S. and Canada. At the same time he started a division of ISI to provide financial assistance for indigenous ministries in poorer countries, especially those led by men of God whom he had known as foreign students in America. In 1972, that division was spun off as Christian Aid Mission, with Finley serving as president.

Since then, Bob Finley has presided over the growth of Christian Aid into perhaps the foremost proponent of supporting indigenous Christian ministries worldwide. Today, he is still at the helm, giving spiritual leadership to the organization.

Christian Aid wasn't founded by a person. it was founded by a group of British and Irish churches in 1945 to help Word War II refugees. Since then, the role of Christian aid has expanded to helping people in developing countries.

Hope this answers your question, but in future, please google the term 'christian aid' (or other topic that you need to look up for homework) yourself, instead of relying on others to do it for you. If you don't do it yourself, how will you learn?

By the way, previous respondants should note that comments like 'I don't know, some Christian guy' are both pointless and time-wasting. If you don't know the answer, don't answer the question!
