i´m not understand very well, but maybe you have clean the recycler, ok?
so, all files that you delete don´t disapear from HD, they only are disable. you can recover this files using a Undelete program, that you can get in the Internet. Go to Google and search UNDELETE DOWNLOAD. Some programs are not freeware.

Your question as stated is not clear at all, so I'm going to take a wild guess here.

Are you looking for the delete command on a submenu?

"delete" is not on the submenu for File, but, "clear" is on the submenu for Edit. You can select text, then click Edit, Clear.

Is that what you mean?

1. What OS (Operating System - eg Windows XP Home, Apple Mac OS X, Mandriva etc.) are you using?
2. Which program does the Delete tag not appear in?
