Did you know, if they are not valuable, you can heat them and mould them into plant pots !!!!!

Collectors, antique dealers, audophiles. Even regular people like me, in fact. You might be surprised at how good the quality of these old recordings can be with modern playback equipment. The old needles they used to use, would wear the top of the groove. Newer micro needles of today can reach down further and reach the unworn section which makes them sound remarkable considering the technology of the day when they were made. A lot of these old recordings are one of a kind, genuine pieces of history. I recently transcribed all of my 78's onto reel to reel tape so I won't wear the records any more than they are already. Eventually, I'll transfer them all over to CD so I can take them with me on the road. I love the big bands of the 30's and 40's, Glen Miller most of all...

"the source" in canada sells a turn table which makes use of a needle to play those and output is digital which will properly be recorded into your computing gadget and burned to a cd. this digitial turn table must be available any the place merely google yet uncertain if it would play at seventy 8 r.p.m.
