I am reading The Wealthy Barber by David Chilton and I like that one a lot. Any other suggestions for good reads on money?

I wouldn't and that goes for all the Presidents who never had a balanced budget since WWII: LBJ, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, GH Bush, and GW Bush. I think three of them boys came from Texas and own a majority of the debt. Also created 3 Wars that cost over a 120,000 lives of American service men in battle and later suicides from PTSD that I consider a causality of war. Let's count: LBJ in Vietnam, GH Gulf War, and Iraq War Bush II. Afghanistan was needed and only that war makes sense. Is no way this guy will ever vote for Rick Perry based on the track records of Texan Presidents. I'll take the idiot in office right now over another Texan. Please nominates a good candidate Republicans because I am sick of picking the lesser of two evils.

I found "Personal Finance for Dummies" to be an easy, entertaining and informative read.

On investing... a short, well organized, very informative book... "Building Your Financial Portfolio on $25 a Month (Or Less)" by Bobbie Christensen

I'm surprised nobody mentioned it yet. Any of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad books, but read the original first. The original is written by Robert T. Kiyosaki.

Well if you want to learn about economics without going into mind numbing graphs and phraseology than a good book would be Naked Economics by Charles Wheelan if that is any help.

Are you looking for books about personal finance and investing, or are you looking for books to entertain you? You need to decide that first.
