i quit my job 6 mos ago bcoz i went back to school....now i am strating to look for job again ( in IT) yeaterday an employer called me and ask for references w/ their contact# from my last job...should i give my last boss's name and contact number /email right away or should i ask him first?..ive tried to email him but no reply...

hmm... if you are a risk taker and want this over quickly, just give him the info, but if you prefer to be tactful then ask him first. Ring him, don't email. Hope it works out for you!
