Wii, It is fastly different from any other games system in the market. Using the remote to control movement via the movement of your hand or via pointing at the TV screen. Also Wii will also be able to download past Nintendo games for the NES, SNES, N64 and Sage Maga Drive for a fee from the internet and play Gamecube games.
Also Nintendo games are more admastive then ones that appear on PC/Cosnsals as they are willing to try new stuff instead of hash out the same old stuff.
There is lots of information about it on the offical Nintendo website along with videos and interviews at nintendo.co.uk

If like your son to be active while playing games, go for the Wii. If like your son to have great graphics and gameplay in HD, pick the 360. Plus if you care about what games I like your kid to playing, pick the Wii. The Wii is suppose to have less Mature rated game than the 360.

I would get him a Wii. The game selection is more open to kids and more fun (and easier on the pocket), and there less violent games. I haven't really seen many 360 games out for kids yet, so I would choose Wii.

Wii. Its more interactive and the games are meant for a broad audience, so you would be able to play with him and know that the games are more enthralling for someone his age. Plus, it won't break your wallet trying to afford it. Its only $250.
Being 10, I don't know if you want him playing 360 games which are adult and violence driven. I would wait on the 360 if I were you. There are minimal games out that would be good for him to play.

Since it is for a younger boy I would say go with the Wii. The interactive controls are great for younger people. Also Nitendo has always been known for making many games that are appropiate for kids that are around the age of 10.

I think you should get him a wii why because kids move when they are playing games and they just solved that problem with its new controller. Also Nintendo products are better for kids because all the games they mostly make rated E or rated T games so I think that's a better choice.

Playstation 3. But not out yet so I would say Xbox 360. I don't know much about the Wii but the Xbox 360 I think will be even bigger than the Playstation3 in the long run.

I agree with Mike A, PS3, they come out in Nov. They are truly Next Gen. Unlike 360 or Wii, which used already present technology, if I had enough cash, though, I would get all 3!

I have a 360 and while its a great console, for a ten year old I would imagine the wii is better due to its interactive control method.
That way you can excerise the cild and keep it quiet at the same time!!
Sweet!
