HI We are planning a destination wedding in Jamaica and it is so hard to decide where to stay. I was thinking Sandals Negril or Sandals Whitehouse. It is so hard to decide and the reviews are so mixed. I was wondering how the beaches at the two compared. I love to snorkel and want crystal clear waters, I also want an incredible resort, I am 36 never married and I want this to be as romantic as possble. We are not "fancy" people, we are infact very easy going. Please help me decide.

+ If you are looking for alone time and not being asked to buy a time share or such, you should go with your choice of Sandals Whitehouse. You can find fine snorkeling all around the island. I was there a few years ago and Ocho Rios was very customer orientated. Freshly roasted blue mountain coffee in the morning is great. Hope things didn't change since my last time.

I think what you are looking for is a perfect match with Sandals Negril. The water is so clear and snorkeling fantastic. Sandals Negril is my #1 choice of Sandals resort in Jamaica.

If you're easy going, go to Negril, it's much more fun. You leave the hotel and go safely to a reggae concert at night (Rafael's, Bourbon Beach) or enjoy sunset at Rick's Cafe. It's a delight. And Negril beach is beautiful. There's a lot of snorkeling in Negril, you just have to talk with the hotel staff.

Sandals resorts actually offer the wedding for free if you stay in a Concierge level room. They have different packages depending on what you want. Sandals is adult only, however if you have families with children they can stay at Sandals' sister resort Beaches and come over for the ceremony and reception. Sandals is amazing, we would so go there again.
