Why do people make exceptions for people with power, money and fame?
The boy she adopted is not even an orphan, his father is still alive!

It doesn't matter that he isn't an orphan, his father gave him up because he couldn't handle without the mother. This boy is being given a second chance. Madonna may have gone through certain laws but in a country that is so poor I'm sure they were happy to be rid of one more starving child. I think Madonna deserves a break, she is doing a good thing but people are so wrapped about 'if she can why cant I' selfishness act. When Angelina adopted twice there wasn't a huge uproar.
I would just like to add that the father is either a moron or a liar because he must of known that Madonna was taking the child for good. Who would send a child to England to be raised and educated, only to send them back. He probably just wants money from Madonna. Please don't have sympathy for him.

I am not sure it is hard to know the hearts of everyone involved. If the young boy was not an orphan why did his father have him living at the orphanage? How often was the father seeing the son?
Madonna has two children already what was her true purpose in adopting? Were there not other children there that had no parents?
It looks odd to me but there are so many unanswered questions that it is hard to make a definitive statement with so little information and it is the media that we are deriving our information from and that in itself I beleive to be an oxymoron.

The boy's father is still alive, this is true, but he wants his son to have the best life possible, so he's okay with the adoption. He's said so in the press. Just leave the woman alone and let her raise this child. People freak out because celebrities don't do enough to help people less fortunate than they are, but when celebrities do try to do things to help, people freak out because they "don't go about it the right way." Did you give Angelina Jolie crap when she adopted her two children? Let the woman try to help society.

I personally think the uproar over her adoption of this child is absolutely ridiculous. Not only has she chosen to give this child a life that most of us can only dream of, she donated millions to an orphanage. That makes her evil? I've heard her referred to as a baby stealer? WHY? The child was already sitting in an orphanage waiting to be adopted. She did nothing the father hadn't already asked to happen to his child... she did MORE than he could ever hope. No one else could give that child the future she could. Personally it's extremely disengenous of the father to say he never thought it would be PERMANENT. Give me a break!!!!!

well i think that its up to them the media have blown this story out of proportion
the dad is poor and his son has a chance to make it in life and im sure with all this publicity he will grow up knowing his father
and one day be able to give his father a better quality of life
some people seem so selfish leave them alone

like some have said he will be better off ,the good thing is he will know who his biological family is and will help them in time to come...Like many in this country giving up their children for adoption because they either too young without support ..or unwanted accidents...the child is Lucky...

hmm an Orphan with a father.. OMG does this mean one of my parents is alive and well ?? I think shes pathetic buying a sorry adopting a child from Africa there are thousands of real orphaned children ( i was one) in the US and UK adopt one of them ya stupid american bimbo
