That will always happen when you try to play pirated games.

There must be a "crack" file to copy in your directory, which is found in the Pirate CDs...
If it doesn't work, try to make an image out of it & merge it with
"Daemon Tools" program.
Anyway....Which Silent Hill?? 2, 3 or 4??!

I am assuming its PC, try uninstalling and re-installing it.
I have the games on PS and PS2, but when my other PC games do that, I always uninstall my games, restart and reboot my computer then re-install game. I hope that works cos its an excellent game!!

the cd must be pirated download the crack for SH from the net
