I accidentally downloaded Yahoo! Messenger 'Singapore' instead of just Yahoo! Messenger (US version). Every time I open it up, a pop up block appears saying "Welcome to Yahoo! Messenger Singapore". I do not want to have Yahoo! Messenger Singapore as my default homepage for Yahoo! Messenger as I do not live in Singapore. So if anyone knows how to change this setting so that my Yahoo! Messenger homepage opens as the US version, I would really appreciate your help! Thanks!!

You lost me at the yahoo messenger home page! At least in the U.S. you have yahoo messenger and you have www.yahoo.com! Aint no messenger home page! If all you want to do is change your homepage to English, open your browser properties and type www.yahoo.com in the box! If you want U.S yahoo messenger, download it from this page also!

You might have to reinstall Yahoo! messenger.
One other trick you might try:
Goto "Control Panel"
Choose "Regional and Language Options"
Make sure "Location" is "United States"
You may have to restart.
