What concerns me the most is the lack of checks and balance in the government. The U.S. does not wear one party rule very well.

My major concern is that our leadership doesnt have the faintest idea of how to deal with threats facing the nation. This is causing a lack of faith among the people which they know will take them from power, also something they dont know how to deal with. One think I know is you never want to tell a rich man the gravy train is over because they'll damn sure find a way to get their last licks in. Also, that they wont take good advice when they get it, be it hiring in certain advisors to aid them, or advice on foriegn and domestic policy. Thereby causing said advisors to have to move independently, because rich people seem to swear that theyre rich from "working hard" and that all poor people are "lazy" (their words not mine). Also, that they seem more concerned with pulling the big play than just keeping it simple and leaving on a high note, rather than screwing up really big and leaving the problem for the next guy. When really what happens is they're leaving the "problem" for all of the American people. Then theres the fact that these "leaders" seem to have a very arrogant nature causing them to severely underestimate their opponents in everything they do, not naming names. Oh never ever ever talk to me like Im a ****** idiot.

Stop giving congress raises, perks, free cars and aids. Term Limits, no retirement until they have served 20 years. Less than 20 years pro rated just like working America.
Fight the war on Terror. As long as necessary, but do it all out. Not this peace keeping police type action that lasts forever with no results.
Better health care costs, by reducing law suit amounts so malpractice insurance rates are lowered. Possibly create a usable Federal Health insurance program for lower income workers
If your going to raise my taxes use it to build more prisons and keep violent offenders in prison, and quit giving my money to people that won't work and haven't for years. Workfare not Welfare
Independent. I will vote Conservative over Liberal most of the time if I have to choose between the two. What happened to moderate Democrats?

Social Programs, they should be more regulated. The stupid "War on Terror", since it was said we were at War with terror, then why didn't our borders and shorelines get sealed and secured, instead they ban toothpaste on airplanes.
