-how long have you've been together?
-bank statements?
-how long have you lived together? If not than why not?
-your jobs? name of company where the spouse works?
-birthdays?
-family?
-may ask for pictures of you two
These the common ones but they may ask some more if they suspect you are not telling the truth. Successfull application depends also on the country where your spouse comes from. average is about 15-20% succsesfull application. It would be best if you talk to a solicitor. you can find more information if you go on the home office webside. They also have names of solicitors and can offer some free advice as well.
If you really love her is worth finding out as much as possible. If not than is not worth the hassle and you are better off finding someone in UK. I'm sure there are lots of nice girls out there.
GOOD LUCK!

damn, all the different solutions are freaking out as if that is a few disgusting theory... diverse marriages are suitable in dozens of countries... yet yea, in England, once you're married, you won't be able to go by the marriage progression a 2d time, otherwise that is going to count number as bigamy, and also you'll be breaking the regulation, and on the best of the day, the 2d marriage will be considered as "void", so that you'll surely nonetheless have a million spouse, yet be in reformatory besides.

well I am the foreigner wife. we applied for my visa from my country rather than UK and this made things look better. We married in my country. One year later for the indefinite visa, we went to HO with some documentation like joint bank accounts etc but the biggest proof was my baby daughter in my arms. They never caused us a problem.

DON"T DO IT!
You are onto a hiding to nothing when you take a woman away from her friends and family.
After a short time she will say she hates the Food, the Weather, the Family and YOU!!!
