Gran Turismo 4 is big and beautiful. Toca Race Driver 3 is not so good looking, but is more realistic edge of the seat stuff. At the end of the day, I would always choose GT 4, for it's beauty and versatility

Does FFVII count, I know it is not actually a ps2 game, but you can play it on the Ps2?

To me that is the best game of all time.

Right now though, I am pretty much hooked on Resi Evil 4, playing it for the god knows how many'eth time - sad I know.

Metal Gear Solid 2 "Sons Of Liberty". As Hideo Kojima obviously took a lot of time making this game.As it has some of the best graphics I have ever seen, and the ideas to the gameplay are also quite clever.
