“A man is a success if he gets up in the morning and gets to bed at night, and in between he does what he wants to do.”
We all pre-judge based on personal biases. The fact remains, that people are what they THINK, not what they do.

When folks are doing what they really want and like, I can guess a lot about their drives and interests. They may have worked, planned and made effort for a long time for that job. In general, though, never would I judge someone by their job. Jobs are just things you do to make ends meet, to survive, and may be temporary until a better opportunity comes by. I'd be more likely to judge (form a negative opinion you mean?) someone by their attitude and manner of performing their work. It ain't about the WHAT, it's about the HOW. You never know what wonderful, incredible and fascinating personalities you'll encounter in the course of a workday's activities/tasks. I'm always happy to meet people and share small talk, saves me the price of a travel ticket!

I hate it, but I do sometimes.
I see a girl I intensely dislike in town, and she has a horrible job, I think "Hah - serves you right for being a b*tch".
I suppose I also have greater respect for people with office jobs like mine, even though my boyfriend works at a pig farm which supplies pork to the whole county, and earns 4 times as much as I do monthly. AND he enjoys his job more then me!!!
I shouldn't judge, what would people say about me???
"She must be a shifty, lying peice of work..." (I'm an Estate Agent)

sometimes u have to.
I was once in a mall with my man and we were looking for a place to eat. the restaurant we were looking for is a fancy one so i told him we gotta ask the customer service or something. looking for them was another heck so he decided to ask one of the janitors who was cleaning. I told him the guy wouldn't know and my man was really mad cz i judged that person by his job. so he asked and the guy gave directions. he was teasing me all the way until we reached the wrong place according to the janitor's directions!
so it's not that i underestimate them, it's just that i know what are there limits!

Yes, I do. I don't ask a dish washer to build me a computer or a Doctor to cut my grass. The better jobs usually means a better education. A better education means they have the ability to take care of themselves and their family. Doing that gets my respect. It doesn't mean they keep my respect if a Doctor does crime.
