Using Windows media player will automatically convert all music files to mp3.

the sony web site has a free download, its an mp3 converter its called sonic stage. open your music file with that, and you can convert it.

if ur using itunes then just drag and drop and it will ask you if you want to convert it or not. if your not using itunes open it with the new windows media player and i dont remember exactly but you can figure it out from there =)

I use software called "Cool Pro Edit" it does most formats.
