The jpg was sent in the body of the email but all I can see is number, letters, punctuation etc. Is there a way of viewing this as a picture rather than as code?

The jpg was sent in the body of a Yahoo email but all I can see is numbers, letters, punctuation etc. Is there a way of viewing this as a picture rather than as code? The sender no longer has the original picture to resend as an attachment.

Don't worry about viewing the picture in your email client progrm. Download the picture to your hard drive. Now try to open it. If it is still wacky, it is not a standard image so tell your friend to open. Then ask your friend what progrm opened the picture. That is the progrm you will need to view it.

Depends on the e-mail program you are using. Different for each. But easier thing would be just to ask the sender to resend the picture as an attachment.

Try opening the email in a diff program, one that can read more file types. Maybe the file type is mislabeled. Also, maybe forward it to another e-mail address. I have a few email address' and all seem to deal with pics and extensions differently. Hope this helped, g-luck
