Angry: yeah that's why I had to come up with this question. How dumb was that comment that he said??

When Michael J. Foxx does an interview or gets a tv spot, he usually tries to keep it under control. When he decided to make this commercial for stem cell research, I think what Rush didn't understand was that Foxx wanted to make a statement. He let everyone see the full effects of the affliction that he's dealing with everyday instead of trying to control it. There was no faking it, it was just the harsh reality.

I'm a conservative, but I haven't listened to rush in years. (i'm an xm sattelite radio junkie and he's not on there) Rush is an entertainer first. He is sincere, but let's be honest, saying contraversial things is what gets you noticed in radio, and gets people tuned in.radio is first and foremost a business.
I tried tuning in a few months ago and found it unlistenable. If i can get past the bad AM quality audio (xm has me spoiled!) all Rush is doing is a three hour monolugue. BORING. I'd rather have a show that has guests, and or the caller takes calls and engages them in a real debate.
Who do i like? having xm I have a choice between DOZENS of talk radio shows at any given time, and FM quality. From the noon to three hour that Rush occupies for example, two conservative talk show hosts that i find way more entertaining are on, one being Mark Davis out of Dallas texasand the othet which is my favorite, Mike McConnell out of Cincinnati, Ohio (i grew up listening to mike so maybe my opinion on that is biased) both of them engage liberal callers with uncanny common sense, and are extremely fair, and entertaining to the listener.

I was going to ask if he is just faking being a fat, ugly drug addicted cretin. I've never seen much sign of intelligence there. When he had a local radio show in Sacramento, CA it was obvious the... (don't know what to call him, he certainly isn't a man) and was first starting out it was obvious he was into making outrageous statements based on his own lies. He wasn't into politics at first, most of his insults back then were against working-class Americans in the less affluent parts of town, and blacks.

Rush Limbaugh is just a bad conservative immitation of Steven Colbert. Did you hear what he said about Michael J. Fox?

Rush Limbaugh is probably one of the smartest men of our times. Whether you love him or hate him the man knows his politics and government law. He creates a lot of news because he has many sources providing up to date information. Not many people realize that he is the number one news source in the United States. I think he is a patriot deserving of our respect. I know I'll get a lot of thumbs down on this one but the man has done a lot for our country.

If you really listen to him, he sounds like a cult leader. He expects you do believe everything he says, word for word. But then he's just a neocon puppet himself. I don't think he's faking intelligence. I think you need to be really educated in brainwashing techniques and mass media control to be as popular as he is. Don't really care for his show though, it makes me feel all icky inside.

You can't fake intelligence. He has none. He only makes stupid sensational statements in order to get people to tune into his program to see how stupid and outrageous he is.
