My b/f & I had unprotected sex (i know bad), but I've been on depo provera for 3yrs & hes still so concerned about me becoming pregnant. I even called my ob/gyn & she said i'll be ok...no way of it happening. I do understand it changes your life forever, but still as my best friend said if I would ever become pregnant it was meant to be (things are meant to be sometimes). How do I reassure him everything is fine, to trust me, not lose him or let it frieghten him to death?

When im on depo provera (shot) i dont menstrate so...so waiting for my period wont help

If you're on the depo and up to date with your shots you will be fine. I'm in a committed relationship, and I'm on the depo, and we dont use Johnny's, (committed relationship, blahblahblah), and I've always been fine. At the end of the day, thats the point of the depo, to stop you getting pregnant. If he's really having a benny about it, maybe take a test? That will prove you're ok.

take a test after a few weeks that should help him out.

try a pregnancy test or go to the doctors and get examined.

just wait till ur periodic cycle and inform him...then you will reassure him.
