I work with a guy who used to be a US Marine. Having been in the Army myself, we really let the insults fly....sometimes getting our coworkers to cry b/c they are laughing so hard.
The very first time i met him he said to me, "Pat, you know you wanted to be a Marine. Come on admit it."
I said, "Your're right actually. But there was one problem.....I can both read AND write."
We have been the best of buddies since.
