needs new brushes

It's very easy. And brushes can be found in most hardware stores, Lowes or Home Depot. Open your drill up and you'll see the brushes mounted against the motor copper plate. they are spring loaded, so be careful the springs don't pop-out and travel to wonderland. You're most interested in the width of the brush so take the remnant left in the motor and carry it with you to the store to get the proper sized replacement. They are usually a standard size. call the nearest Bosch repair center, ther is one in Atlanta becasue I live here and all of my tools are Bosch. I think on that drill that they have to uncase the thing to put the brushes in.

Find someone who sells industrial tool parts, and see if they have the brushes you need. Look under the heading "tools" in your local yellow pages.
