You can either get a job before coming over or look for a job after getting here. The working culture here is also very different from Europe.
Weather wise we have summer all year round and the humidity is very high.

I think you can search on the singapore company directory...look for some company that is related in what you are doing or will be interested in doing.
And simple mail then your resume.
I tried that before but was applying for job in Hong Kong, and a company actually got back to me.
Prehaps you can give it a try first.
