I've never been to Japan, but from what I hear, it's wonderful. I'd love to visit some day.
Living in Germany, love it here. I'm American, and of COURSE I love my country.
So, define great. Great how? Economically? Technologically? Militarily? Socially? Culturally?

Parts of america are great, not all of it. japan - fascinating country, never been but definetely worthy visit. germany......hmmmmm, no. I must say Japan. Country on its own.
